Method
Winter Drum Scores Estimator uses scores from WGI regionals to estimate scores for WGI World Championships.
We add 1.5 points per week before finals to each score to guess final score.
Rationale Behind Method
Adding 1.5 points per week has been the closest method I could find to predicting a final score. None are very
close, but this seems to be the most reasonable. Local scores are not used, only regionals. Groups that have not
participated in a regional yet are not ranked.
Timing
Scores may be able to be estimated as soon as the Monday after a regional, or may take weeks. Sorry.
Errors
If you notice any errors on the site please fill out the form below and send me a message so I can fix it. Please
be specific, do not just send me a number, I can't do anything with just a random number. You may also list and
talk about errors on the Discussion Board. Thanks.

Purpose
This is purely for fun. If any thing this should prove that scores are relatively meaningless and that scoring standards
and personal preferences range so much that actually "estimating" a finals score is impossible. However, this gives
us a way of organizing these numbers instead of clicking through 30 pages of scores trying to do math and guess where abouts
each groups "stands." Is this hypocritical? Yes. But, there is a desire to get a feeling for whether
or not you'll be performing on Saturday night, and although this won't answer that question, you were probably thinking about
these things anyways.
